At the outer skirts of the village, with views of the surrounding mountains and in close distance to the Cretan Sea, shopping facilities, taverns, bars and National Highway; a 2bedroomed apartment of approx. 100m² for the long term available... Entering the apartment for rent, a small hall leads to the spacious open living / dining area with open plan kitchen (without appliances, incl. extractor hood), and sliding doors onto a big covered balcony with some sea view. The master bedroom comes with en-suite bathroom (shower, basin toilet), built-in wardrobes and balcony, and the 2nd bedroom has wardrobes and balcony as well. The main bathroom consists of a bathtub, shower, basin and toilet. The apartment is fitted with central heating, aluminum doors and double glazed windows with shutters, and parking space is available in front of the building. The village is a medium-sized, seaside village located 38km east of Chania, 16 km west of Rethymno and 3 km east of Georgioupolis. At the waterfront of the village is a long sandy and partly pebbled beach, stretching from Georgioupolis until the cave of Petres. During season the village is very well organized and all the necessary touristic facilities are offered to the visitors. There are shops, mini markets, pharmacies, taverns, restaurants and bars in the center of the village. Off-season the local shops are still open, as well as some bars, and daily bus transfers to the towns of Chania and Rethymno making it a comfortable place to stay all year round.
