The circular beach around the cove is pleasantly catered with umbrellas and sun beds. It is a popular summer destination among the locals but the limited tourist development leaves the cove with its natural beauty. There are a couple of taverns and bars for a snack and all the amenities to the nearby areas. The place is well known internationally for its pristine beauty and due to the filming of the famous “Zorba the Greek” film with Anthony Quinn. In fact the house is only some metres from the mountain where the movie was filmed.
